The family of Prof. Emmanuel Karoro yesterday afternoon held a memorial service for their departed daughter Dr. Angela Karoro.
According to prof. Karoro yesterday May 30, 2025 marked two years since the Butsema university mathematics lecturer died.
The prayers were led by Rev. Dr. Gordon Karuhanga. He noted that death is normal and no one can go to heaven unless he/she first dies.
He added that those who accepted Jesus Christ as their savior cannot fear death because its through this action one goes to heaven.
Mrs Dora Karoro told people that attended the service that despite the death of Dr. Angela Karoro they have remained stronger in prayer and Jesus Christ.
Prof Karoro said the memorial service was mainly for the family members. It was held at Ngyeya preparatory school in a hall named in memory of Dr. Angela Karoro.
He remembered that by the time Dr. Angela died, he[Prof. karoro] was very sick. He would neither eat nor drink but survived. He dully got saved immediately after the sudden death of Dr. Angela.
His children; Henry Karoro, Counsel Frank Karoro, and Dan Karoro attended. One missed Rosemary Karoro who is doing her PhD at Harvard university in America.
