JUSTICE KWIZIRA: DR. GILIVAZ NEVER SLEPT WITH HIS BIOLOGICAL DAUGHTER

High court sitting in Bushenyi has acquitted Dr. Gilvaz Atwiine on charges of rape and incest he alleged committed to his daughter (names withheld)
Justice Kwizira Amos made the land mark judgement today morning 20th July, 2026 at Bushenyi High Court in the middle of Bushenyi town.
Justice Kwizira ruled that, the prosecution never induced enough evidence to the effect that it would lead to imprisonment of Dr. Gilvaz.
Justice Kwizira became categorical in court that if Dr. Gilvaz gave anybody money claiming that he was taking it to staff at the high court of Bushenyi, that one is a lie and he should be arrested.
The defense lawyer Micheal Kasenene of Kasenene and company advocates told the media after the judgment that he is going to talk to his client to see whether they should sue government for the lost time (four years on remand) while battling the case that was never there.
Dr. Gilvaz has been on remand for four years in government prison in Bushenyi ( Nyamushekyera) for four years after his biological daughter had allegedly claimed that he had slept with his daughter and impregnated her as well which court has ruled that it was not true.
Justice Kwizira decided that he never wanted to be recorded by media however he was willing to share his judgment to the media like www.mknewslink.com and mk newslink TV.
The daughter in question was a student then at Bweranyangi Girls’ secondary school and was expelled immediately after that incident and she even testified in court that she never had sexual intercourse with her father.
