Rev. Atwebembeire was arrested on Thursday from Kabushaho Anglican church where he has been a parish priest
He was accused of sleeping with a 15 year old girl who has been pupil at Kabushaho primary school.
Credible sources claimed that the reverend could have been set up by Kabushaho primary school because of clashes between the primary and church.
Reverends and Reverend Fathers as well as Archbishops and Bishops of both catholic and Anglican religions have been on the spotlight for engaging in sex outside marriage while Rev. Frs. and Catholic Bishops for producing secret children.
The biggest Anglican religious scandal in the Church of Uganda was of the immediate Emeritus Archbishop of Uganda, His Grace Stanley Ntagari, who got involved in sex scandal that almost broke the Anglican Church in Uganda as well as the world.
