PROF. KABWEGYERE WARNS BUSHENYI COUNCILORS, OTHERS AGAINST CAUSING CHAOS

Senior citizen and retired minister in many governments in Uganda, Prof. Tarsis Kabwegyere has warned councilors and others stakeholders against causing chaos within Bushenyi local government.
The 85 year old professor said this yesterday in an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com and mknewslink TV in Busheyi district.
Prof. Kabwegyere noted that councilors and leaders of Bushenyi should welcome, advise and work with chairman Prosper Twebaze other than tearing the district apart.
He went ahead to say that some Councilors are complaining that they are supposed to be on the executive but the professor said that the executive is for few councilors therefore they should be patient and wait for their time to be appointed members of the above.
For the cases in court by councilors against Bushenyi district and the chairman, the professor advised that they should consider withdrawing the cases and reconcile with the chairman and district.
On the district service commission where three sets of names have been approved by the council but rejected in Kampala, Kabwegyere said that the commission is a focal committee of every district and city in Uganda, therefore, councilors should respect the district chairman to do his work.
