The mayor of Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Nestor Richard Byaruhanga yesterday evening blessed his daughter Proscovia Nuwahereza a daughter of late Kirada Tumwesigye and Cephas Tumwesigye.
The function took place yesterday in Rwandaro village, Ruharo ward Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
Mayor Richard Byaruhanga is a paternal uncle to Proscovia. She was being given away to Francis Byamugisha from Ibaare Sub County.
While officiating at the function, the mayor blessed the couple and requested to unite and respect each other in their marriage.
The mayor also hailed her sister in law Cephas Tumwesigye for working hard, bringing up children in a Godly manner and paying expensive fees for the children.
He also hailed Cephas Tumwesigye for maintaining friends of her husband and was happy to see them in attendance.
The go-between was Mr. Aine Cliff who led through the introduction rituals revealed that Byamugisha was a disciplined who he knows will be able to make a family.
