In Bushenyi—
The bishop of West Ankole Diocese’Rt.Rev.Johnson Twinomujuni has revealed that Makerere University has not yet decided on the date or time when Katungu branch will start operations.
Bishop Twinomujuni said this yesterday while giving his Easter message in the board room at Bweranyangi cathedral in Bushenyi town.
However, he asked those who have objection to the plans of starting Makerere university branch at Katungu to either go to courts of law or embrace the idea because it was resolved by the synod.
He said synod is the supreme body of the diocese and all decisions it takes can only be challenged in courts of law.
Referring to some people who are against the plans to open Makerere university branch at Katungu,Bishop Twinomujuni said they are using a wrong forum to address their individual opinions.
In his Easter message, Bishop Twinomujuni condemned the rampant kidnaps and killings that have rocked the country thus appealing to the government to do all it takes to stop the crimes.
He wished all people a happy and peaceful Easter thus asking them to resurrect with Jesus Christ if they are to have life in abundance.
