APPLY AN IRON HAND ON ERRANT CANDIDATES—RDC AKATUHEEBWA TELLS THE NRM ELECTORAL COMMISSION

The Ibanda Resident District Commissioner, Mr. Eliasto Akatuheebwa asked the NRM electoral commission to use an iron hand on the candidates who misbehave and cause chaos during NRM party joint campaigns.
Speaking at a rally at Bisheeshe Sub County in Ibanda municipality yesterday, Akatuheebwa said that some candidates take the first advantage to address the campaign rallies leave the venue with their supporters before other candidates speak to the audience in order to go and decampaign their opponents.
The RDC noted that the NRM race for Ibanda Municipality Parliamentary seat has become hot and hostile in his life than any other.
He however warned candidates against creating confusion among the public.

At least ten males and one female were nominated to contest as Member of Parliament for Ibanda municipality.
