VOTING IN SHEEMA GOING ON PEACEFULLY

Information coming out of Sheema indicate that voting is going on peacefully with a few and minor problems.

According to the police spokesperson Emilian Kayima, some polling stations as early as 7:00am while others started at 10:00am. He noted that there are no major cases occurred since voting started in the morning.

He called upon the voters to remain peaceful and be careful to avoid being arrested. He also warned agents of some candidates who want to bribe voters to stop because they will be apprehended by police.

FDC candidate Virginia plan Mugyenyi has already voted whereas NRM candidate Dr.Elioda Tumwesigye is yet to vote.

Counting will begin shortly at 4:00pm and we shall bring you all the results from all polling centers.
