Police in Ishaka Bushenyi district on yesterday arrested 10 suspected armed robbers.
In the joint operation led by police and other security agencies around Bushenyi, the criminals were rounded up from Ishaka town and it’s suburbs including Kizinda.
According to the greater Bushenyi regional police commander Eddie Sserunjoji, in the operation, police also recovered gun.
He said that the suspects in custody have caused atrocities in the region which also claimed lives of many people.
The suspects who are currently held Ishaka police station have not yet been identified as police is hunting for more others on the run.
He urged the public to be vigilant and cooperate with security agencies through sharing intelligence about criminals in order to stamp out violent crimes in the area.
