Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner Emmy Ngabirano’s thanks giving today Oct. 08 2026 raised 40 million shillings which is meant to complete Bweranyangi cathedral that is nearing completion.
A well-organized service was presided over by the Bishop of West Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni and it was held at Bushenyi district headquarters.

He hailed the RDC Ngabirano for thanking God for what he has made him accomplish and as well as his services which are being accepted wholesomely by the people of Bushenyi district.
Bishop Johnson also called upon every Christian whether rich or poor to always thank the almighty God for many successes achieved at a particular time.
Many speakers at service thanked the Bishop and RDC’s friends for the recommendable job at the diocese and district.
Central Executive Committee member of NRM Ms. Adrine Kobusingye Domaro hailed the RDC, Bishop and local government staff for the recommendable job well executed to develop greater Bushenyi and Uganda.
She also applauded NRM government and president Museveni for putting women in front seats to steer this country ahead.
“Women were in the kitchen all the time instead of big offices which they occupy now,” she emphasized.
The woman Member of Parliament for Bushenyi district Hon. Annet Katusiime Mugisha hailed the Bishop for preaching the gospel that is inspirational and changing generations.
She hailed the CAO Sanyu Phionah, RDC Ngabirano and governor Prosper Twebaze for stabilizing the district as is being evidenced by the peace and serenity in Bushenyi.
Mr. Prosper Twebaze District Chairman revealed that the public supports evil and few people support good things.
He told the Bishop that he met him over the cathedral project and contributed 2 million shillings.
The chief guest Can.Col. and undersecretary in the ministry of security Charles Aine noted that giving back to God is one of the best things on earth.
He hailed RDC Ngabirano for being one of the best staff in the ministry reason being that he puts his God first.
“I got saved when I was at the rank of Capt. and now am a Col. I have no regrets at all. Col. Can. Charles Aine told the public.
He noted that he had represented the commissioner of Transport and regulation in the ministry of works and transport Mr. Winston Katushabe who is the head of Bweranyangi cathedral construction project.
At the function, RDC Ngabirano hailed MD www.mknewslink.com and mknewslink TV all online based in greater Western Uganda for reconciling with Bishop Johnson.
