Butuuro Peoples SACCO has introduced mobile banking to make bank transactions easy for their customers during this COVID 19 period.
The service was launched in June 2021 according to the SACCO’s IT manager Muhwezi Joshua and it has positively changed the way members access services from Butuuro SACCO.
Muhwezi told www.mknewslink.com that members who have since been registered on the Mobile Banking service dubbed “Butuuro Mobile” now withdraw or deposit their savings, make loan repayments, check their savings balances and see their account mini-statements all from the comfort of their homes.
He emphasized that this service saves time, monetary resources, is convenient and above all a very safe and healthy way of accessing services from the SACCO since all a member deals with is a mobile phone.
According to the SACCO’s IT manager once a member is registered on Butuuro Mobile, he or she can bank any time, any day since the bank is always open right in one’s phone as long as she or she dials * 284*121# then enter personal PIN.
He encouraged all members to visit their nearest Butuuro SACCO branch and register for the service but reminded them to keep their Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) a secret as it is the gateway to the member account information.
