SHOCKING NEWS: POLICE OFFICER SHOOTS DEAD BUSHENYI CIVILIAN

Bushenyi police are investigating circumstances surrounding a case where a cadet police officer shot and killed a civilian in Kizinda town.
According to the greater Bushenyi regional police commander, Eddie Serunjoji the cadet assistant supretendant of police John Rothomoi killed Kamadhi Barija Friday night Jan. 19, 2018.
RPC Serunjoji added that prior to the shooting ASP Rothomoi was beaten by a group of people and even lost his two teeth.
Sources added that after the fight, the accused police officer went to KIU western campus police post where he has been working as OC and picked a gun rode his motorcycle and met Kamadhi and shot him dead.
Sources told www.mknewslink.com news website editor that the late kamadhi and group wanted to forcefully remove a gun from him hence the police officer decided to shoot one of them dead.
Cadet supretendant of police Rothomoi was still doing his internship and this means that his career in police has started with very big challenges.
RPC Serunjoji noted that investigators have already ascertained that cadet Rothomoi is one who shot but investigations are still on going.
He added that police has already spoken to the family members to explain to them preliminary investigation report. He said that burial for the late Kamadhi is today.
