ENG. WANDERA INSTALLED AS 18TH PRESIDENT OF ROTARY CLUB OF KIWATULE

Eng. Denis Wandera Ochwo was given instruments of power by the chief guest District Governor 9211 Xavier Francis Sentamu Ssalongo.
Eng . Wandera replaced Dr. Vincent Bagambe who has been the President for one year like other Presidents before .The constitution of Rotary International states that the President serves for one year in the office with his secretaries and without going any extra day as President installed .
In his farewell speech , Dr Bagambe listed his achievements which included partnership with Bamugisha Community welfare that resulted in to buying an Ambulance for Kabushaho health center III.
He added that his year of service was gazetted as a rotary family year internationally . The club held a health camp at Kabwohe health center IV and a total of 1000 clients plus were treated .
The in coming President Eng. Denis Wandera also revealed the projects worth 6.25 billion that will be under taken in his one year of leadership .
The plan included projects such as providing water and social services to refuges in Nakivale Isingiro district .
He said the project in Nakivale will cost billion Shillings . For all projects planned for during his year, a total of 6.25 billion will be needed to accomplish these mentioned projects .

The District Governor 9211 Mr. Sentamu Xavier Francis Salongo was happy to note that the transition took place despite the covid 19 pandemic .
The out going and in coming President Dr . Bagambe and Eng . Wandera called upon companies to be partners with Rotary club of Kiwatule to raise money to meet their budget obligation of 6.25 billion shillings for this rotary year .
Dr Bagambe called upon NTV to be the first partner to be enrolled by rotary club of Kiwatule then others follow . The function ended at 2:50pm.
