FAKE DOCUMENTS AT IGARA TEA FACTORY: KATARIKAWE SUSPENDED FROM BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The chairman board of directors Igara growers tea factory Samuel Muhereza K has suspended one of the directors over forgery and uttering false document.
In a letter dated 29th August 2022 addressed to the suspended director, Hannington Katarikawe, the chairman stated that his decision followed an advice of Uganda Registration Services Bureau.
“You are aware of the background of being unqualified a board member in addition to allegations regarding forgery and uttering false document. The fore mentioned issues remain unsolved and unanswered.” Reads part of the letter.
Suspesion letter

The chairman notified Hannington Katarikawe that he will be offered an opportunity to present his case and defend himself in accordance with article 101 of the amended company constitution.
Katarikawe through the same letter was requested to immediately handover the company assets as he awaits his formal hearing.
He was also restrained from conducting any activity or presenting himself as a member of Igara tea Growers tea factory limited until the company annual general meeting has resolved otherwise.
