The Bishop of West Ankole diocese RT Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has finally come out on issues regarding the status of his former staff Rev. Dr. Gordon Karuhanga.

In an exclusive phone interview with the MD, www.mknewslink.com last week, Bishop Johnson revealed that Rev. Karuhanga asked for a study leave and since then has never briefed him on the status of his course.

Rev. Dr. Karuhanga told this news website that the Bishop of West Ankole diocese retired him in an annual clergy transfers but never gave a retirement letter.

He added that after that he put a lot of energy on praying for all the people regardless of religious denomination which has eventually resulted into starting a prayer center at Rusharara in Sheema municipality.

He added that at the prayer center, he doesn’t baptize, wed and even doesn’t conduct prayers on Sundays. On Sabbath day he advises his followers to pray in their respective churches.

Rev. Dr. Karuhanga accuses Bishop Johnson of witch hunting him by ordering his firing from Ankole western university [AWU] where he had been a lecturer for a long time. AWU is a project of west Ankole diocese

He adds that Bishop Johnson has gone ahead to ban him from preaching in all Anglican churches in the diocese.

On the other hand, there is huge friction between the two men of God and this website asks believers to pray for the situation.
