The speaker of the parliament Rebecca Kadaga has for the first time since admission to both Nakasero hospital in Kampala and Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi spoken out on her health status.
Ms Kadaga in a statement issued early this morning assured Ugandans and the globe that she is now feeling better and was looking forward to be discharged soon.
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com Ms Kadaga said that Am glad to report that due to gods mercy and untiring efforts of Ugandan and Kenyan doctors, I do now have better bill of health.
Ms Kadaga rebuked media reports describing her extremely unwell and due to be flown to Spain, calling for responsible reporting from journalists.
Fellow Ugandans, send you greetings. As you are all aware, I fell ill on 21st mar2019 after returning from international engagements on behalf of the country.
I was in Nakasero Hospital and later relocated to the Aga khan hospital in Nairobi.
I also thank the first lady ,Ms Janet Kataha Museveni,the Kyabazinga of Busoga,His Royal Highness William Gabula Nadiope,the Kabaka of Buganda, His Royal Highness Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II,and the Queen of Buganda, Her Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda.
In a similar vein, I hail religious leaders of diverse denominations, fellow members of Parliament, Government Officials and various Ugandans for their concern at status of health.
