I WILL NOT SIGN ON THE ICC PETITION AGAINST MUSEVENI—MUGISHA MUNTU

The party president Alliance for the National Transformation, (ANT) General Mugisha Muntu has disclosed that he is not going to append his signature on the ICC petition by the People’s government against Museveni.
The People’s Government led by former president of Forum for Democratic change FDC party Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye are soliciting for at least two million Ugandans to append signatures on the petition to be handed over to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
The petition is meant to open cases of crime against humanity committed by President Museveni and other government officials in security agencies.
While launching the Tooro sub Region coordinators training and commissioning of the regional offices in Kabundaire Fort portal municipality, Mugisha Muntu said that he is not going to append any of his signatures on the ICC petition.
He however didn’t desist other alliance party members from participating in the to signing on the petition.
When asked why he could not sign on the petition, Muntu declined to comment saying that he has his personal reasons as to why he won’t sign on it.
Muntu further warned some of the party members against fighting or exchanging words with the Forum for democratic change even if they are not in good relationship.
