KABALE MP CONDEMNS SECURITY ORGANS OVER INCREASED CRIMES

The Kabale Municipality Member of Parliament; Hon. Andrew Aja Baryayanga has decried and condemned the failure by security organs in the country to protect citizens from criminals.
Baryayanga was yesterday speaking as the guest of honor at the 7th part of the 18th Graduation ceremony of Bishop Barham University College, a constituent college of Uganda Christian University in Kabale Municipality where total of 136 graduates were awarded with Degrees, Diplomas and certificates in a function that was held at the University’s multipurpose hall.
The legislator noted that security organs need to double efforts to protect citizens from gruesome murders, kidnappers, robberies and corrupt government officials.
Baryayanga also urged fresh graduates to embrace business if they are to compete in the employment world, adding that job market is very competitive and requires innovative and patient people.
The Principle Bishop Barham University College; Rev Dr. Medard Rugyendo condemned the vices of cheating of exams and defilement of pupils by some students and lecturer- students’ relationships.
He revealed that as Christian University they will not tolerate such ill behaviors since they are against the church principles.
The function was attended by the Bishop of Kigezi Diocese; Rt. Rev Eng George Bagamuhunda who doubles as the Chairman Bishop Barham University College Council, the Bishop Kinkizi Diocese Rt. Rev Dan Zoreeka, the Emeritus Bishop of Kigezi diocese, William Rukirande among others.
