Aman believed to be in his 30th is nursing wounds at Masindi general hospital after he was allegedly stabbed during dispute over payment with sex worker in Masindi town.
The incident happened this morning along sebagala street.
According to eyewitness, the victim by press time whose identity was not yet known, allegedly failed to pay the woman after a sexual encounter resulting into an argument that escalated into violence and the woman reportedly stabbed him with knife.
Scovia Atuhuura commonly known as mama Ghetto told www.mknewslink.com website that the victim had allegedly been involved in similar disputes in the past claiming he had a habit of failing to pay sex workers after receiving their services.
Isaac Namumpa another eyewitness says residents intervened quickly after the incident and found the victim bleeding and rushed him to hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, the sexual worker Identified as Phiona reportedly accompanied the victim to the hospital paid his medical bills and apologised for her action.the victim also reportedly forgave her .
Solomon mugisa the Albertine North regional community Liaison officer and acting regional police spokesperson confirmed the incident and said the victim is recieving treatment at Masindi general hospital.
“We condenm the use of violence in resolving disputes and urge members of the public to settle misunderstanding peacefully and seek lawful means of resolving conflicts Mugisa said”
He adds that Investigations into the matter are on going.
