NGO DONATES MEDICINE TO PATIENTS IN IBANDA DISTRICT

Over 400 patients from Ibanda district have today filled Ibanda Community Church venue in Ibanda Municipality, Ibanda district to attend a new campaign for medication treatment exercise.

A six man delegation team from Portland Oregon in United States of America including medical staff from within the country headed by Pastor Dr. Brand Bulker under their organization Equipping Plant Indigenous Church (EPIC) has donated medicine to treat people in several villages in Ibanda district.

According to Pastor Dr. Bulker, the medicines donated were mainly meant for treatment of Diabetes, malaria fever, High Blood pressure, and serious eyes for people who can not read well, dental, Sexual Transmitted Diseases among other.

Dr. Bulker explained to the press that a number of adults and children have been screened and the   patients who have been diagnosed with complicated cases like red eyes and teeth have been referred to Mbarara Hospital for further screening and treatment.

Pastor Herbert Tusiime of Ibanda Community Church in Ibanda municipality says that the campaign is targeted for all the people of all religions including adults and the young ones who cannot afford to pay for the expensive treatment in private clinics and in private hospitals to ensure that their lives are well protected.
