OVER 460 GRADUATES RECEIVE DIPLOMAS, CERTIFICATES AT ALLIANCE VOC. SCHOOL -IBANDA

A total of 467 graduands have today graduated in different vocational skills courses from Alliance Vocational School in Ibanda municipality.

The function was held at the main campus which is situated at Kitwe cell, in Kyaruhanga ward,Ibanda municipality.

325 females and 142 males have graduated with diplomas and certificates  awarded by UBTEB and Alliance Vocational school in courses of ; Records and Information management, project planning, National certificate in Automotive mechanics,motor vehicle mechanics, agriculture, installation craft, secretarial  studies, Business administration, Journalism and Mass communication, Accountancy, Library, medical laboratory techniques, early childhood and nursery teacher education among others.

Alliance Vocational school-Ibanda started in 2006 to promote entrepreneurship skills among the youth for self sustainability and produce highly practical citizens who are capable of creating their jobs.

The Principal Mr. Ozbert Aheebwe advised the graduands to observe discipline at work, love unity and above all respect their bosses.

Eng. Martin Kasekende, the chairman of the private sector foundation Uganda who was the chief guest called upon the youth in the country to focus on vocational education and promote the growth of public private partnerships in the country.
