Parental Care Primary School situated in Bushenyi town yesterday emerged the third best in national drama competitions held at Sacred Heart secondary school in Gulu Municipality.
Speaking at party to congratulate parents, students upon success in the competitions held at College View guest house in Nyakabirizi, the head teacher Parental care Perez Basiime noted that the school defeated other 53 primary schools that participated in the competition.
He added that the school scooped 5 trophies 1st for original composition in Runyankole with 95%, 2nd for traditional dance with 90%and the 3rd for sight singing with 90% among others.
Basiime told www.mknewslink.com that they are aiming at becoming the best in the next years competitions.
He added that they were the third best in 2018 national drama competitions.
According to the senior inspector of schools Bushenyi Ishaka Jane Tumubwine said that all the schools have been forced to participate in dance and drama competitions at municipality level.
She hoped that by next year, dance and drama within the municipality will have resurrected .
