popular radio journalist Mr. Twebaze Prosper has today officially retired from media work to concentrate on campaigns and elections for Bushenyi district chairman seat.
He revealed this today 24th,May 2025 in a press conference at Premier Hotel in Bushenyi town .
The press conference was attended by journalists from different media houses in the region.
Mr.Twebaze Prosper will tussle it out with the incumbent Jafari BassajjaBalaba who has been occupying the seat for two terms.
The popular journalist has been working with BfM radio in Bushenyi district. He enjoys support from the rural voters and urban areas in Bushenyi district.
He told www.mknewslink.com MD that he will soon unveil his manifesto and participate in the NRM primaries slated for July ,2025.
Bushenyi voters that this journalist spoke to accuse Jafari Bassajja of corruption ,bribery among other crimes.
Many former journalists have taken up political positions and performed well. Among them are Robert Kakyebezi for city mayor Mbarara, Mucunguzi Sam, Ntungamo district chairman, the late Besigye Kaihwa for Kabale district greater.
