WE ARE GOING TO APPLY VIOLENCE—-COUNCILLORS TELL BUSHENYI SPEAKER, CHAIRMAN ON KIGURUSI, KABUSHAHO SEED SCHOOL

Bushenyi district council which sat on Fri.9th Nov.2018 shut down all councilors who were against establishment of a seed school at Kabushaho around Bumbaire sub county Bushenyi district.
Winnie Mbyemeire woman councilor for Nyakabirizi stood up to challenge the decision earlier made by the councilor to take the school to Kigurusi land which is against the ministry of education guidelines. The district speaker Ms Justine Burisadi ordered Winnie to sit down because the issue was decided on once and for all.
On the other hand Rose Atuhaire, district female youth councilor successfully stood up and raised the matter that the guidelines do not allow government to establish a school at privately owned land.
The district chairperson who is in support of establishing a school at Kigurusi said no one can change the decision.
However civil society activist Elly Muhwezi noted that there is no decision that cant be changed and that the guidelines do not allow establishment of a school at Kigurusi
District councilor for Nyakabirizi Katwarana Anthony warned the district chairperson and speaker that they they are going to resort to violence since some councilors have refused to follow the right guidelines.
