PARENTAL CARE P/S BUSHENYI PUPIL TO COMPETE WITH AFRICA IN SPELLING COMPETITIONS IN MALAWI

A pupil of Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi will compete in spelling Bee competition in Malawi with over 30 African countries after emerging winner at Serena in Uganda competition.
Andrew Ahabyoona Lords finished behind pupils of Greenhill academy and Horizon International school.
According to the deputy head teacher parental care primary school Desmon Tayebwa the competitions will be held in Blantyre Malawi between 8th Dec. and 12 Dec. 2022.
Mr. Tayebwa added that he will also escort his pupil to Blantyre and witness how he will shake Africa.
He noted that forty schools participated in the Kampala Serena competitions organized by Enjuba National spelling Bee competitions.
The deputy head teacher revealed that the competition has been there for many years at both regional, national level as well as international and Parental care primary school has been participating at all levels.
The educationist added that Spelling Bee competition helps in building self-esteem, academic excellence, reading culture, interpersonal skills and confidence among others.
