The Bishop of west Ankole diocese RT.Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has replaced the suspected homosexual Rev. of Nyamiko C.O.U in all saints greater Archdeaconry.
Rev. Ahimbisibwe replaced Rev. Richard Mwesigye who was placed by diocesan bishop in an indefinite suspension because of the immoral acts of homosexuality.
According to credible sources from Nyamiko C.O.U and Kakanju sub-county where he is born, Rev. Mwesigye is still in hiding since Dec. 2, 2025 when the diocese was supposed to evacuate him from Nyamiko cou to Kakanju where he is born.
Rev. Ahimbisibwe has been a curate at Masheruka Archdeaconry in Sheema district in west Ankole diocese.
Rev. Ahimbisibwe was received at Nyamiko cou last with a lot of hope from Christians in a sense that the tragedy that befell them will not occur again.
According to the credible source that spoke to www.mknewslink.com news website, revealed that the wife of Rev.Mwesigye leaked the information of homosexuality acts of her husband to his bosses.
In the letter that suspends Mwesigye indefinitely refers to the discussion between the archdeacon of All saints greater church and the DS on 13th May 2025 where they resolved to investigate and suspend the victim.
