ST. JOHN COU RUKINDO BAPTISED TODAY BY BISHOP JOHNSON

The Bishop of West Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has today 27th Sept.2026 consecrated St. John Church of Uganda Rukindo located in All Saints greater Archdeaconry West Ankole Diocese.
The Bishop also officially opened the house of the curate worth many millions of money and the Bishop contributed one million to buy household items for newly constructed house.
Rukindo church of Uganda was named St. John and the function was attended by many dignitaries who included all Heads of Laity of All Saints Greater parish, Owishemwe God Tweheyo, Silver Mukwatanise son to MP Annet Katusiime, Igara west MP Cohen Kyampene, former councilor Jennifer Kekimuri, Julius Turinamwe who bought a cow and handed it to the Bishop as his contribution for the fundraising to complete Bweranyangi Cathedral.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR ANGLICAN CHURCH TO GET CONSECRATED?
A consecrated church is allowed to wed couples attaining matrimonial sacrament.
Before consecration, it would baptize young and old joining Anglican Church but this time it’s advanced.
It is able to do all the sacraments that are done at the cathedral and it’s the only within all saints greater archdeaconry aside.
The head of laity St. John church of Uganda Rukindo Mr. Ham Farmer donated a cow to kick start a fundraising to raise money and develop their land on the Bushenyi highway so as to generate income for the church.
