Top leaders from Bushenyi district and beyond hailed children of the late Joyce Byandemire led by senior counsel Tusubira for seriously looking after their mother from the time her husband Late Byandemire died until her last breath.
Joyce Byandemire was born 1924 in Bweranyangi and was later married by late Mzee Byandemire a resident of Rwatukwire now central division Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
Chairman Prosper Twebaze, hailed the family of Byandemire for taking care of the elderly woman and sending her off in a dignified way.
He also informed mourners that the council sat on 21st August and approved the name of James Mujurizi as the chairman Bushenyi district service commission.


He added that committees were formed, chairperson elected and the council is now ready to start work fully.
Richard Byaruhanga the Mayor Bushenyi Ishaka municipality advised the mourners to work hard, take their children to school for a better tomorrow.
Eng. Dr. Silver Mugisha told young graduates that jobs are few and they should not look at him as a person who has a store of jobs and therefore they should look at employing themselves.

According to Senior Counsel Tusubira, his parents were not too much into religion and that’s why they were able to take their children Bushenyi Catholic School presently St. Kagwa Boarding primary school, despite the fact that they were Anglican Christians.
Bishop Yona Katonene presided over the church ceremonies during the burial.
